The Order of the Gauntlet is a group of paladins and other religious types that strive to do good through lawful means. Their three tenets are:
- Destroy Evil. Maintain vigilance against all forms of evil and crush it as quickly as possible.
- Protect the Innocent. It is our duty to fight for those who cannot fight for themselves, even if it would cost us dearly.
- Uphold the Reputation of the Order. Adhere to a strict code of honor and goodness so that nations will allow us to operate within their borders.
In S15, Tyener learns more about them and considers joining after reading their brochure.
In S24, Tyener decides to join the Order of the Gauntlet and is informed that there will be a trial at his earliest availability.
